Objectives:
- Increase your ability to identify, define and structure a business problem
- Strengthen your problem solving approach and communication in the analysis phase
- Increase your ability to provide a clear status and control the process and the decision makers
- Improve the communication quality when synthesising the recommendation in a management proposal
- Put your skills to work on some of your relevant business issues

Content:
Day 1 - Problem solving:
- Problem solving and communication – what is it and why is it important
- Problem identification, definition and structuring, incl., issue trees, scope charts, 'the fishbone' approach
- Data gathering and analysis, incl., using data analysis planning sheets
- Solution/recommendation development
- Own case work, exercises and plenum presentations during session, incl. preparation for day 2
Day 2 - Process management and communication:
- Milestones and activity planning
- Syndication
- Resource management
- Status reporting, incl., utilising the pyramid principle
- PowerPoint formatting guidelines
- Hands-on PowerPoint training
- Own case work, exercises and plenum presentations during session, incl. feedback and recommendations for future improvements
