The client's problem
A division of an international chain of animal hospitals wanted to reap synergies across its extensive portfolio of care services. The client needed an approach for finding commonalities while keeping unique local differences as a first step to digitising the business further.
Over the course of 4 months, Oleto Associates conducted a four-step process. Firstly, a unifying framework for all products and services was developed and linked to the selected animal hospitals. Secondly, a set of business principles were defined across the clinics. Thirdly, a suggestion for common products and services, with local flexibility was defined. Finally, this was validated and further aligned during several agile “validate, design, correct” loops, a process still ongoing.
First round of business practices harmonised which is now enabling the client to go into the next phase of digitisation of the business.
